NO DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. NO DANCING REQUIRED EITHER.

If you have a body that can sit, stand, lay, stretch, emote, whoop, wiggle, sing, and/or shake, you are amply prepared to succeed at and enjoy this space.

The Temple Sessions are more than just a place to savor good music and move your body in the company of kindreds spirits. They are an act of revolution –a space to channel the exhaustion, rage, despair, madness and hope of these times into an embodied “prayer" for a more life-affirming world.

Each Temple Session is curated around a paradigm-shifting theme to help us bridge between the collapsing experiment in patriarchal/colonial/capitalist empire and the (re)emergent matriarchal/indigenous/solarpunk future being born through us.

During this summer season of Temple Sessions gatherings at CAT, we’ll explore:

1) why dance and celebration are essential medicine during existential crises

2) lessons from the WEIRDest group of humans to have ever existed, and

3) harnessing the gifts, power and purpose of sacred rage

*These themes are subject to last minute changes depending on warp-speed shifts in "current events."

Whether you are actively building towards a more humane and harmonious world or are simply trying to survive the existing one(!), the Temple Sessions exist to hold space for your emotions, strengthen your vision and amplify your action.
