COLLECTORS ATTIC 2 ENTRIES DUE

This second event of it’s kind has been organized in response to the many folks that I that say to me, “I would love to buy this piece of Art, but I don’t have any room on my walls for another piece of Art!  OK, so now is your time to sell some of those pieces that you no longer are as in love with as you once were. AND this year for the first time, Artists may submit their older works that they would also like to see if they would sell at a reasonable price. 

MEMBERSHIP: This year as we start out CAT’s Membership Program, 

• you may Donate your artwork and if the work sells for over the Membership price, you can opt to receive a CAT Membership for your donation. 

• OR you may opt to not get CAT Membership and receive 50% of the sales price!

Submit your old artworks (paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, glass, etc) so that someone else can love them!  Submissions are open to all individuals (Consignors) who would like to try to sell their original Artworks at a very reasonable price (this is not New York City). Steve Liggett will help on this if the Consignor needs help but there is no guarantee that your work will sell.

All works will be juried by the CAT Director, Steve Liggett (with a few Consultants), who will be looking for wonderful Art works in good condition that someone else will enjoy, but will be sold at a reasonable price set by the Consignor.  Space is limited, and available space will be taken into consideration about acceptance of work.  The Gallery at Liggett Studio will pay the Consignor 50% of the sales price.  Only original artworks will be accepted (no giclées or reproductions) however etchings, wood block prints, lithographs and monoprints are acceptable. and the Consignor must sign a certificate of ownership to confirm the artwork's provenance.  AND for the first time, Consignors may provide bins for people to flip through of their older original artworks or may decide not to frame the work for this particular exhibition/sale.

Delivery and return of all artwork to buyers are at the expense of the Consignor.  All shipping will be through the UPS Store who will package and ship all works at the buyers’ expense.

The deadline for electronic submissions is January 15, 2027, 5pm.

Dates for the exhibition/sale are February 12 – March 4, 2027.

• JAN 20 2026, 9 pm: Juror makes Digital Decision


• JAN 25, 5 pm: Juror notifies all Consignors via email of Acceptance or Rejection of the Digital Jurying Results.

• FEB 9, 2027, 1-3 pm - Delivery of Artwork Chosen.


• FEB 10 & 11, 2027  - Installation
  

• FEB 12, 2027, Second Friday – Special Patrons’ Preview from 4-5pm & General Exhibit Opening, 5-8pm 
Artworks go home with buyers at the time of sale. 

• Gallery is open on Thursdays and Fridays 5-8 pm and Saturdays from 1-5 pm through the Closing on March 4


• MAR 4, 2027, 5-8 pm Collectors’ Attic 2 Closing


• MARCH 5, 2027, 1-3 pm Unsold work picked up. 

Checks will be given to Consignors for sold work at this time. If the Consignor is unable to pick up their work, they must make arrangements for the work to be picked up by someone else and notify Steve as to who has authorization to do so.
