Eligibility & Mediums
• Open to artists over 18 of all backgrounds, regardless of experience level.
• All media and disciplines are eligible.
• Works must be original and ready for display or presentation.
• All works must be for sale if visual art.
Theme
This is an international Juried Group Show of artworks of all media that arise from genuine experiences and personal reflections that reveal those places we seldom share and consider the many shades of self that exist within the individual.
Submission Guidelines
- This exhibition is open to artists all over the world, but out-of-town artists must provide shipping costs to and from Contemporary Arts of Tulsa or deliver and pick up the work to and from the gallery.
Submit up to 3 works for consideration. Entry fee - $10 each entry.
- Submitted works cannot have been shown in a 100 mile radius.
- Info online must include dimensions, media used, a short description for each piece and a reasonable retail price - CAT’s commission is 30% of the sales price.
- A statement about each work is required and if accepted will be exhibited alongside the artwork but may be edited.
- If chosen, all 2D and wall displayed artwork must be framed and ready to hang if deemed appropriate.

- Exhibit Opens. Second Friday, October 8, 5-8 pm, 2027

THE JURORS: All works will be co-juried by Tulsa Artist, Nichole Montgomery and CAT Director, Steve Liggett who will be looking for wonderful Art that fit the theme of the exhibit.
Nichole Montgomery (b. 1978) is a self-taught, nationally award-winning multidisciplinary artist and 1990s U.S. Army veteran raised in the Mount Hood wilderness of Oregon. Exhibiting since 2007, her work has been shown nationally, from Ohio, California, Arizona, and Illinois to New York, and internationally in Canada and Barcelona, Spain.
A member of the National Association of Women Artists (NAWA, 2025), she received third place in She the People in New York (2026) and first place in mixed media at the 2025 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival, among approximately 7,000 entries. Named an inaugural Oklahoma Visionary Artist in 2023, Montgomery became a full-time artist in 2024 after her children grew up. She works from The Den, her private mixed-media studio at Contemporary Arts of Tulsa.
Montgomery teaches the NEUROLINES process, her line-art grounding practice, to everyone from combat veterans to grade-schoolers. She advocates for veteran mental health through the arts and supports and promotes unconventional and outsider artists whose practices resist easy categorization.

All shipping of artwork purchased will be through the UPS Store who will package and ship all works at the buyers’ expense.
Checks will be given to Artists for sold work at the pick up time. Awards will be given out at the Opening of the Exhibit.
